To ensure a high level of security for your account, we will require the following information to effect a change of the name listed on your BEAM account. This applies to all accounts, regardless of country, account type, or plan.
Please note that the individual or company listed will be considered the account-holder, and will have complete control of the account, including scheduling pick ups and deliveries, billing, etc.
The requested documentation may be sent via e-mail to cs@beamsapce.com or by post to your local BEAM Space office.
Transferring account name from an individual to a company
A signed letter providing the following information:
The current name and contact details listed on the account
Your BEAM Customer Number
State your request, including the account be transferred, indicating the exact name of the new account owner, as well as any change in contact or billing details. You should also indicate the new account owner's acceptance of the BEAM Space Terms and Conditions and liability for any amounts owing on the account.
Any other changes requested (i.e. the new name to be listed on the account, any other changes to contact details, billing address, etc.)
Official government-issued identification card or document, such as NRIC or passport, of both the old and new account-holder.
Full name and signature of both the old and new account-holder.
Transferring account name from a company to an individual
The requirements are the same as transferring from an individual to a company, except the letter should include the following additional information:
Be on official company letterhead with company stamp
State the title/designation of the person signing the letter
State that the person signing is authorised by the company to make the request(s) and provide documentation of same (for example, a copy of the ACRA BizFile document for Singapore-based companies)
Please note that any change in account ownership is fully at the discretion of BEAM Space. We may, at our sole discretion, investigate further, request additional documentation, institute a change in credit terms, and/or reject any requested change.
