Cancelling your storage and deleting your account are two separate steps. When your last items leave our warehouse, your storage service ends β but your BEAM account stays open so you can access past invoices, view your history, and rebook if you need to. If you'd like to go further and remove your login entirely, this article explains how.
Before you can delete your account
We'll only process an account deletion when all three of the following are true:
All your items have been collected. There must be no active items in storage under your account. If anything is still with us, arrange a delivery or collection first.
Your account balance is exactly zero. This means no outstanding charges and no remaining credit. If you have an account credit, please contact us so we can process a refund before you proceed.
You are the primary account holder. Sub-users linked to your account cannot request deletion β only the main account holder can do this.
If any of these conditions aren't met, the deletion request won't go through. We'll let you know why so you can sort it out first.
How to delete your account
Once the above conditions are met:
Log in to your BEAM account
Go to your account settings
Select Delete Account
Enter your password to confirm
Select Delete Now
That's it. Your access is removed immediately.
What happens when your account is deleted

We keep historical records for compliance and audit purposes. You won't be able to log in or access these records after deletion, but if you ever need a copy of your invoices or history beforehand, download them from your account or contact us and we'll send them to you.
Can I reopen my account after deleting it?
No. Deletion permanently removes your login access. If you'd like to use BEAM again in the future, you'd need to create a new account.

What if I just want a break, not a full deletion?
No problem β you don't have to delete your account. You can simply leave it open with nothing in storage and come back when you're ready. There are no fees for having an inactive account.
